BONE BOOSTER WORKSHOP

Cost: $50 per person

Build strong bones through resistance training. This class is for all levels and will use hand weights, resistance bands, the ballet barre, and a squishy ball. All equipment will be provided at the studio.

Adding resistance increases bone density, a profound preventative measure to prevent falls and fractures and to increase healing speed in case of injury. You will learn simple, effective strength exercises you can incorporate into your home routine.

Jen McWalters has been teaching Pilates for over 25 years and is a life-long student of movement. Jen is a certified Pilates and yoga teacher. She has competed in Kettlebell sport and is a two-time world champion in the sport. Jen uses resistance training in her own movement practice.
